Where are you located?
I am based in South Florida and call Coral Springs home. I cover the entire state o of Florida and beyond. My top areas are Broward, Dade and Palm Beach Counties.
Can you travel to my wedding?
Yes! I would be delighted to cover your wedding anywhere. For multi-cultural and and destination weddings, travel can be arranged. Just ask.
Do you take group and family portraits?
Absolutely! I will scour your event location for the optimum location to take advantage of the best possible natural lighting if available, or set up my own lights in a safe and efficient way. This typically happens between the ceremony and reception – but it’s all up to you!
Are you familiar with traditional Indian/Pakistani style photos and poses?
Certainly. I have covered several Indian/Pakistani weddings and I work extra hard to capture detailed shots of the, mehndi, and gharara and kaam of the dress that the beautiful bride will be wearing. You’ll get the traditional shaadi photos along with some of my own creativity.
Do you speak Urdu/Hindi?
Yes. I am fluent in Urdu. some Spanish, and even speak a tiny bit of Arabic. Communication is key when helping to coordinate people around for that perfect shot.
Do you shoot film or digital?
I’m a Canon shooter and use professional caliber bodies and lenses. We can get into detail if you wish, I love talking about this stuff. However, keep in mind that the creativity of the person behind the camera usually makes the most difference.
Do you have backup equipment?
That’s simply a must. I carry backup equipment during all events. I have multiple camera bodies, lenses, flashes and accessories. I leave your wedding with at least two copies of all your images.
Do you bring an assistant or second shooter?
Usually I don’t. I operate on the principle of quality is better than quantity. However, I can certainly have a second shooter present upon request to capture additional angles.
How many pictures do you take during a wedding?
That really depends. I strive for the highest quality photos. Ultimately, I want your wedding album to have 50-70 breathtaking photos that you pick out of about 500-800 proofs. Of course, this will vary with the size and duration of your event.
Do you recommend any vendors?
I take recommendations very seriously. I only recommend vendors I've personally worked with and can vouch for. As such, this is a very short and exclusive list. Here are a few:
